    1 in New Orleans 8-)

I would fucking love another New Orleans show. What a day today has been (allow me to rant for a second)!!! I got laid off from work last week, and I had a job interview today and was offered the position before I left. I could not have been more excited when i got home...which of course meant sharing the good news with my wife then turning on some PJ and popping open some beer (Samuel Adams Cream Stout). Then I log on here and see this! They may not come anywhere near Alabama but nothing makes me happier then seeing Pearl Jam hit the road!
I can't wait to see the dates and cities...there just might be a road trip in the near future!

congrats on the job offer. :D
    Peace, Love.

that is my guess too. But the way the tweet was worded - the Aus dates are coming later on, not on the 7th.

me either. maybe the remaining date will be 3-4 east coast shows plus the Philly shows & then heading back home & playing the west before going to AUS late this year/early next year?

Wow, talk about quick turnaround, congrats! I've been job hunting for 6 months now, and just got an offer yesterday. But the hunting has been absolutely grueling.

Wohoow, it's getting concrete... just wish that rumour about Seattle is coming true - would be a wonderful coincidence since I booked holidays for the west in September (S.F.->Vegas-> Canyons/RV) and could convince my gf to add SEATTLE Sep 22-25 before getting back home over the pont. Will be nice anyway to be back after 16 years, but seing PJ live in the States (Seattle!) would be a dream come true :) ~ keeping fingers crossed ~

Those Philadelphia shows (R.I.P. my cat named Philly) already sound too great, congrats Eastcoasters ;)

Anyone have any ideas when they're playing? I go to school in Worcester, MA, so it's quite the trek down to Philly, but I have October 16th-26th off of classes.

If they play the 30th or 31st I'll be there for the Philly show(s). If it's earlier in the week I won't be able to make the trek over from the Burgh because of classes. I'm rooting for the 29-31 or 28,30,31 rumors to be true and not the ones that say Bruce has the 30th and 31st w/ PJ playing earlier in the week.

And there are an inordinate amount of Australians living in Vancouver, BC...

Really stretching there, I know. But still. :D

I never thought about that but it definetly could be. I'd drive to Kentucky for a show if it hit on a weekend.

Keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed for a Texas date or two around ACL...not too far of a drive from Tulsa. But, I'd drive just about anywhere with roads to get there so I'm just happy for the announcement. Period.

I think the coding just creates more hype, speculation, rumors, and frustration amongst the fans. Seems to me they could help alleviate the negativity and speculation on the board if they just communicated it clearly. I recognize that maybe they aren't allowed to release anything yet.. but then again, if you don't have something to say, don't say anything at all. Not complaining.. just curious.

I liked in 2005 how they used different songs on the homepage to hint at shows i.e. Oh Canada for the Canadian tour, The Gambler for the Borgata and the Rocky theme for Philly.

The all "tweet" case make me laugh. Well, yes, it's kind of sweet, but definitely, I start to think Sea probably reads too much Dan Brown's books.
He seems to play with all of us... and it makes me feel like a fool :?

If the band isn't planning on playing in Southern California - my money can go elsewhere. :geek: Yay or nay - I need info, folks. Are we gonna get skipped or not :?:
