Tom was just at the NIN/Jane's Addiction show...anyoen know why he was playing? I just saw a photo on a friends facebook so I don't know which band he was playing with.

His new band is the opener for them

His new band Street Sweeper Social Club has been blowing NIN and Jane's off the stage. At least they did in my opinon in Tampa.

All my friends that saw NIN/JA two nights ago said the same thing.

    Also......

"Vedder had several stints in San Diego area bands, including Surf and Destroy and The Butts. One of those bands, called Indian Style, included future Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave drummer Brad Wilk."

He's in a band with Cornell, has played with DMB & Tool, opens for Jane's ... not surprised that he is a PJ fan. ;)

Plus how could you be in a band with Chris Cornell without being a fan of Pearl Jam?

So, by deductive reasoning, Tom is down with some Timberland!

    PBM

For a moment there I thought you were going to apply deductive reasoning to say that Timberland is a Pearl Jam fan since he's basically Cornell's band now.

Tom is a new age Hendrix...his many innovations playing the guitar are fucking phenomenal!! i wish RATM would do a new album together...no one moves a crowd like Rage!!
Street Sweeper is just as good, IMO. They were the best band at the NIN/JA show by far I thought.

  • I think Rage is over-rated and Morello could use a guitar lesson or 100.

Whammy pedal and toggle swich does not mean you are a good guitar player-
