i believe they were promo items for the ten reissue... 10C mustve sent them out to different media outlets to use for contests and such... pretty standard for stuff like that to end up on ebay once those non-fans realize they can turn a quick profit...

    I already have one. :D

  • Not at all surprised.
It might not be a contest winner flipping this but a promotions department worker (or supervisor) for one of the companies that were giving it away. It happens ALL THE TIME.
When I worked for a TV station our promotions guy got busted for selling stuff we were supposed to be giving to fans as prizes on e-bay. The last of which (the one he got caught selling) was a TV. Dude kept his job only cause daddy was a stockholder, but he had to close the acct. The wife (who also worked at he station in another dept) still sold smaller items for him. They both eventually quit...but my point is not everyone in charge of giving away prizes ACTUALLY gives them all away...esp if they know they can make a good profit on it.

I'll be very surprised if this guy gets his money when this auction ends.

The bids are higher than the value of this item will be in 10 years.

Forget the iPod, I still want my Van 98 poster! :)

i would love to have a pj ipod. I understand it would be a little more expensive than the regular one because of the 200 limit. But not more than double the value of a normal ipod nano 8 gb.
