are you familiar with the abortion comments made on Conan O' Brien?
A child's rhyme stuck in my head...
It said "Life is nothing but a dream."
I've spent so many years in question
To find I'd known this all along.

    Abortions for all!!

It was interesting him saying that the opposition to abortion is "middle-aged, upper-class white men". That's what Ed is now.

Being 14 when Pearl Jam came on the national scene, I never noticed how affected Eddie seems. At the time I took it as deep feeling he may have had.
But now it just seems a little put on. The rubbing of his brow, the carefulness in the language.
Not only that some of the early performances, the glances at the floor, the arms crossed, the eye rolling. You watch the bad radio performances and that's not there.
Not saying it's bad, just saying at the time I didn't think of it as a performance.

I think with respect to those that he was figuring out who he was (what his presence was going to be on stage and how he was going to engage the crowd) still. Thankfully he stopped trying to be Anthony Kiedis.

Oh, my... Many of the comments seem to come from persons who can't listen with understanding. Pro-choice is pro-choice not pro-abortion. Is it so difficult to understand it? And this is one of the cases I 100% agree with Pearl Jam. Why at all everybody wants to make a decision for the women? Some says abortion is a murder... well if it really is - take the child off the mother and let see if he'she would live without her blood etc. This is about women's bodies, we can only decide about it..
    Thanks for the link.

About Eddie's behaviour. Even now He seems to be confused in shows - You can see Him standing back to the audience when He doesn't sing. He didn't behave that way in Bad Radio era perhaps because He didn't have to sing for so many people in one show.
