I was reading the Irish Independent earlier and Ten was on its list of 20 most embarassing albums to own,it was number 12 in a list which included Westlife and Garth Brooks. They said ,'They called it Grunge but it was actually sludge.' What a pile of poo. http://www.independent.ie/entertainment/music/go-on-confess--yoursquove-got-a-criminal-record-1357681.html

This paper seems to have something against Pearl Jam,they once wrote the most misinformed article I've ever read about how Pearl Jam were jumping on the politics bandwagon with Worldwide Suicide to revive their career. http://www.independent.ie/unsorted/features/rockin-in-the-free-world-its-all-about-timing-96220.html

Typical paper, who measures success by popularity and recent album sales
  • I left my 2cents...
OH: You need to stop buying Pearl Jam stuff, we have no room
Me: How about we just get a bigger house?

That's a pretty interesting opinion for an album that Rolling Stone ranks the 207th album of all time. Lame ass writer

Stupid. I could give two shits as to what that guy's musical taste is and what he considers to be good and not good.

I know,Jagged Little Pill,Ten,Appetite for Destruction and X & Y would be on plenty of critics' and fans' great album lists. The guy obviously just went on his own tastes rather than what would actually be embarassing albums to own.

I'm glad he has that opinion. Hope the idiot stays away from PJ shows. One less person I have to compete with for seats.

I had to see it to believe it; right after Chumbawumba LOL

Some of the artists/albums mentioned are indeed lame, but the fact that Appetite for Destruction, in addition to Ten, also makes this list, shows just how stupid a list it really is.
    Which came first,
the bad idea or me befallen by it?

I agree with you and your signature.

I'm damn proud that I own Ten.
