Ed - Please do Misunderstood when you come to Vancouver!!

This is a PERFECT song for you!! It could have been written about you!! You want to be a moody man and say things nobody can (or at least you did)! Obscure and oblique? I particularly love the "hey, baby" at the end...

Anyway, I can't see your solo gigs this time out, so if you wanted to do a pre-set when you come to Vancouver, I'd be sooooo all over that! :D:mrgreen:

    Ahhh...you're having me on....I'm just wishful thinking in regard to rumours....a girl can dream, can't she?

    Anyway, I think the song would be awesome for Ed to sing....it probably meant a lot to him back in the day....

    But - I thought of another song that would be good for him -- "All I Want Is You". The U2 version is the best, but Glen Campbell did a fairly phenomenal job...and I think Ed could do it even better....

    Nope - that's "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" - and it's about spousal abuse, Sometimes he gets a little mad and nobody in life can always be an angel...(but it's OK. He's just a soul who's intentions are good.... )

    And I don't know the Wilco song. I saw them last year at Bridge and thought they sucked... Jeff Tweedy looks like an angry David Gates...
