"Vedder also does a beautiful cover of Bob Dylan's "Forever Young" (which can also be seen on YouTube), just his voice and his Fender Telecaster ringing out."

thanks to the article, we can now say goodbye to that video,...

Ed did that song as a pre-opener I believe...not from his solo show...

you're right, the video is dated 05/26/06 in Boston,...

    Vedder hits the road alone
Singer matures from grunge to elder statesman of rock

By KEVIN LANAHAN, Special to the Times Union
First published in print: Thursday, June 4, 2009

The album will be produced by Brendan O'Brien, who was behind the controls during the "Ten" sessions.

"Guaranteed" from that soundtrack won Vedder a Grammy award in 2008.

I guess the author of this article remembers history different than me. The Ten sessions were produced by Rick Parasher, mixed by Tim Palmer, and had additional engineering by Dave Hills and Don Gilmore and Adrian Moore, and was mastered by Bob Ludwig. (Source: original liner notes to Ten)

Also, eV didn't win a Grammy. He won a Golden Globe and was nominated for a Grammy.

Entertainment Weekly reported a tentative Sept. 22 date as well. It seems legit, if not yet official.

It was a decent article and thank you for posting.

However if memory serves me correctly he was nominated for a Golden Globe - did not win and was not nominated for a Grammy.

    Are my facts correct?
