    I'm listening to the new DMB album and I just love how he plays. just really tight beats and that echo-type bass drum hit. Sweet!

    I personally just think its the way they mic it/ record it during the shows that makes them sound worse. But the least he could do is bring back his Ayotte kit.

    yea i think its too big as it is now, he just needs a small kit like dave a's and hit em hard like dave did.

    Carter's drums do have an amazing sound. I think his hi hat is near perfection too. Is he still using the Yamaha Recording Custom set? When they had Steve Lillywhite mixing those drums it blew my mind.
