Carter's from Dave Matthews band. That dude can kick some ass on the toms!

    I'm listening to the new DMB album and I just love how he plays. just really tight beats and that echo-type bass drum hit. Sweet!

    I personally just think its the way they mic it/ record it during the shows that makes them sound worse. But the least he could do is bring back his Ayotte kit.

    yea i think its too big as it is now, he just needs a small kit like dave a's and hit em hard like dave did.

    Carter's drums do have an amazing sound. I think his hi hat is near perfection too. Is he still using the Yamaha Recording Custom set? When they had Steve Lillywhite mixing those drums it blew my mind.

    Can't they always just sound like they did on Live On Two legs? Haven't heard that since
