Seriously. This whole place has gone crazy over what, in the end, will probably turn out to be a fuckup by whoever runs Conan's website.

    Amazing.

First off Slightofjeff, you've been in the game long enough to know how everybody gets around album release time, or tour time, or late night talk show time, or whatever it PJ is up to during "active" years.

But you're probably right, whoever runs Conan's website probably just looked to see what Pearl Jam's latest release was and put it on there.

You're right. New album, tour time, etc brings out the crazies. You'd think I'd be used to it by now.

Morty: Jerry, what time do we have to be at the the Tonight Show on Thursday.

Jerry: You gotta be there at 4:30.

Morty: But it comes on 11:30.

Jerry: Yeah, well they tape it in the afternoon and then they air it at 11:30.

Morty: How long they been doing this?

    Jerry: 30 years.

    nice!
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam

    BALLS!!!!

Conan is the biggest appearance of the bands career. Most of the viewers of this show -and there will be alot of them tonight- haven't heard the band since TEN... they are not Pearl Jam fans, and basically think Pearl Jam is just some flannel wearing relic from the 1990's.

If they come on tonight and play a bunch of crap from 20 years ago, they are going to look like nothing more than some pathetic washed up 40 year old nostalgia act. It would be a disasterous move.

They have a perfect opportunity tonight to debut 1 or 2 kick ass tunes from their new album to show the world that they are still very much a relevant band.

If they wanted to play TEN songs they should have done that shit 20 years ago on the goddamn Tonight Show.

    PLAY NEW SONGS!!!

    GAME. SET. MATCH.

I'd like to think that Conan's people are pulling our leg.

I love your username. One of my favorite songs of all time. Just felt the need to point that out... 8-)

    topic integrity please. :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
