    My official guess is...new song for the TV airing, and maybe a Ten song for the web.

    It would be a DISGRACE if they didn't play a new song. If they want to throw out a classic after they go off the air....fine. But if they have the nerve to just play an old song on the debut of a new talk show, ya might as well just call them The Rolling Stones.

    i also think they'll just get one song on-air, and maybe a second song for web-only. when's the last time a band got to play two songs on the Tonight Show on-air (or Late Night for that matter)?
    Sure, the producers could try something new and actually air two songs since its Conan's first show, but I doubt it.

    and I'd say they're definitely going to play a new song tonight, given that the album release is imminent, not to mention the even-more-imminent first single release, which most likely will be announced tonight via commerical during the show.

    am I anywhere near the "bulls-eye" on this one?

    You know it kind of makes sense people. Tonight is going to be unusual in that the talk show is going to be about the show, not about what the band plays. Maybe they felt that the show would be best served by them playing a song someone has heard in their lifetime? I don't know, just speculating. I'd be incredibly disappointed if this were true though of course, I'm not going to be Smiley McSmiley like some people and say I DON'T CARE WHAT THE BAND PLAYS AS LONG AS IT'S MUSIC!! Don't know how you can honestly believe that when we told new songs, but whatevers. But this isn't an ordinary appearance... I'm pretty sure this isn't Pearl Jam's scheduling just that if you are asked to play the first Tonight Show YOU DON'T SAY NO. So maybe nothing is ready to play? I know about the leak so that kind of gives me hope since it'd be weird that they debuted it only a few days ago with this coming up tonight, so hopefully we'll get it.

    i really want to hear a new song tonight but i'd be cool if they played brother. i have a feeling they are only going to play 1 song though. either way, just getting to see them is enough for me. i don't really care if they just got up there and played lukin. i'm gonna watch it 75 times anyway!

    Seriously. This whole place has gone crazy over what, in the end, will probably turn out to be a fuckup by whoever runs Conan's website.

    Just keep in mind this is The Tonight Show
    It's Conan's gig, not Pearl Jam's.

    We'll be lucky to get two songs aired.

    What I meant was that there is probably a 99% chance that Pearl Jam doesn't play tonight if it is not the first Tonight show. This gig was not booked because they are ready to go, but because you were asked to play the first Tonight show. That's a big honor. You can't say no to that whether or not you are ready to play new songs. If the album isn't coming out until September maybe they don't play anything off it now, and wait to the do usual advertising tour for it then.

    No kiddin.... Conan probably chewed some intern out b/c there was no album info besides "new album". The intern then say, "gee, I'll go to the official site, surely they've announced the release date". Ten reissue is the last new album and it get slapped on there.

    I've seen new songSSSS in just about every report I've read, so I'm gonna kick somebody's ass if we get Brother and another song off of Ten.
