For those going up to the show, try the steam whistle brewery tour, which is right near the Rogers Centre. You and your buzz won't be disappointed (that's if it is still open)I used to be MILKwasAbadChoice...Now I am just FW46778...a math teacher in jersey0

The Steamwhistle tour is excellent. They give you two free samples just for walking in the door (and more if you take the tour). Mill Street is also brewed in Toronto, I haven't been on their tour but they make excellent beer.0 -
we got there realll early for our tour, and they literally just kept letting us drink. it was awesome. I was there about a year and a half ago, and i think they have expanded sinceI used to be MILKwasAbadChoice...Now I am just FW46778...a math teacher in jersey0

Bleh.
I'm Canadian and I hate most of the big name generic Canadian beers. Labatt's Blue, Molson Canadian, LGD, kokanee etc... they're all not that good. Light years better then American beer (which isn't hard to do) but on the grand scale of global beer they aren't in the ballpark.
I think the best generic Canadian beer would be Alexander Keith's, then you get into the premium beers Sleeman's has some good brews.
Most of my favorites are imported.. Heineken, Amstel, Guiness, Boddington's, Corona.
I think Canadian beer gets a better wrap than it deservers, just because its way better than US beer, but I think we as Canadian's overrate our domestic beers
