Yeah we had one very quick drink and then left, probably didn;t help with it being a bank holiday though.Astoria 20/04/06, Leeds 25/08/06, Prague 22/09/06, Wembley 18/06/07,

wetherspoons arent allowed to play music i thought? :? is it a Lloyds pub then?
Could be a Lloyds but I thought they where one and the same!
I think they have an entertainment license so that they can show sporting events and such.
Yeah, Wetherspoons can show sport etc but I don't think they have music as standard. I believe Lloyds and Wetherspoons are run by the same chain but have different policies regarding music... ie. Lloyds is chav/townie/glo-stick heaven
even then they only show sport with the sounds off... it costs too much for a full entertainment licence.
i'm sure it'll be fine..oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -

Sorry to hijack the thread here folks but does anyone have 1 spare standing ticket for Manchester??
Got my 2 through the 10c but my oldest friend wants to come too and while I'm willing to pay a bit extra the eBay touts are just taking the **** to be honest.
Can anyone help??0 -
Hinn wrote:Dunk/Jenny/Dave/Neil/Tamara/Drunk Rob/Al/John/whoever might be staying at the Central travelodge:
Us after-show London bus people who are staying at the travelodge found out that they have no left luggage facility, so when we check out on Monday we don't really have a place to stash our stuff- there's no luggage locker at the train station and I'm unsure about cloakroom facilities at the MEN. The bus won't come around until after the show, so we're unable to throw our stuff in there before the show.
Is it at all possible that we leave our stuff in your rooms, so we can all walk back to the travelodge after the show, collect the gear, and jump onto our bus?
Re-posted in the other Manchester thread too.
Hi Hinn! I'm sure we'll be able to sort something out for ye! If the hotel isn't too far away from after giggage pints then I won't mind going back with a key.0 -
