I have been known to sink a few.

We Brits seem to be known for this.

It'll be fun Niko, I have a few (12) bottles of Jack we might tackle too. My house is always stocked up with jack. For those special occasions ;)

Oh shit yeah... How is the leg? Did you enjoy NIN? :)

I had a bike accident yesterday, I hope i'm not still scabby by PJ too... :?

  • We went to Manchester on Tuesday and drank in the Moon Under Water... I can confirm that it's big enough to hold hundreds of PJ fans if needs be... and the beer is cheap as fook! :D

We booked our hotel last night for the Sunday and Monday night!! Whoooooot!! I can't believe there's only 30 days to go

    Uh, hope you're OK!

Leg's getting better, still not allowed to touch the ground though. Got a hospital appointment next week, I'll see what they say. Fingers crossed it's good news.

I loved NIN, Jane's were very, very cool too. The people at the MEN were really cool about exchanging my standing ticket and gave me a really good seat, but I would've prefered the floor, obviously.

The floor was badass... but I guess you saw that ;) Where were you sat? We were right of the stage about 6/7 people back... JA surprised the hell outta me! I've never been a fan but after that performance I think i'm gonna get me some stuff! :D

Let us know how the hospital appointment goes :)

Back on topic though... are you headed to the pre-show party on the Sunday night?

    excellent!!!

i just read one of Hitchy's posts about him needing to transfer tickets due to exams... i'm meant to be staying with him on the monday... i hope he can make it or i'm going to sleep on someones floor... i'll not tell them like... i'll just lie there, like a drunk scottish narcoleptic slug.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I have some free space in my room on the Monday night, since Hells Bells is headin' home... ;);)

Yeah, I saw that :) I was almost as excited about seeing Jane's as I was about seeing NIN. Eric Avery absolutely owned on bass! Get Nothing's Shocking and Rito De Lo Habitual, brilliant stuff!

I was about 1/2 way back (around the sound desk), view was great but I wish I could've been closer. Oh well, I was there and that's all that counts at the end of the day. :D

Back on topic: I'd love to make the pre-show party as it sounds awesome, but I'll have to see how everything works out with trains and such. I was planning on heading to Manchester during the day on Monday... Anything happening then? I'm not too fussed about queuing up early as my leg probably wouldn't survive the front anyway

There's some amazing hotel in Manchester. It has some generic name like Manchester Hotel but it's like 30 quid a night and is the nicest hotel Ive ever stayed in. We came across it after we turned up to a hotel we booked and it was.............boarded up. Crazyness! But yea, it's right around the City centre and is great.

Im staying in Liverpool for the nights and Im debating whether or not itd be worth spending the money on two trains to come up. One of my mates off the board is coming too. Shall we go? Might try and get a room in said hotel for the night of the meet up. Be cool to see what fellow Irish PJ fans there are crazy enough to come over!
