Could PJ pull this off?

Obviously, I would LOVE to see PJ do something like this, but I feel like the response would be too overwhelming...

    That have already raised $500K. I can't see the band doing it. I can see them auctioning off the opportunity so that one or two people go back stage. NIN is offering it to anyone who has a $1K. Sound check and Dinner with Trent and opportunity to see Dave N. with his shirt off up close. So worth it... :D

    did you ASK if pearl jam can pull this off........your asking the same fans that would purchase vinyl 1 year after its release for $100's more....... the same fans that pay $100's for a $25 poster........ i know i would and about 20-30 personal friends that would drop a grand at the blink of an eye to either meet the band...gat back stage passes, or even diner... LET ALONE ALL THREE........the question should be would THEY WANT TO DO THAT.

    sweet! i might actually consider the $300 donation for next weeks chicago show... definitely a cool idea... i wonder if theyd sign autographs during the hug/handshake meeting

    that is awesome. i would consider the $300 for the jones beach show but realistically that doesn't fit into my budget.

    kinda bizzare IMO, no I don't think Pearl Jam could pull this off. now an auction is different, mccready just did one. I know I would shell out three hundo in a heart beat. and I'm sure it would be a mob scene. not very exclusive. interesting though...

    This is awesome that NIN/JA are doing this, would be awesome if PJ would do this, i could imagine them doing so and i would support it wholeheartedly!! I would give ANY amt of money I could for the cause of PJ's choice.

    true... im sorry i wet of on a tangent ...it would be a mob scene ...maybe if they sold 100 tickets for the meet and greet thing...30-50 fot the soundcheck/meet and greet...10-20 for everything...meet and greet,soundcheck,back stage passes.diner.....that would be cool...and i bet they could get an easy 2,000 per ticket...from 10-20 people...............did someone contact 10c yet........cause i will forward them the link you post

    some 3 friends and I are splitting two of the big $1000 packages on June 9 in Columbia, MD, and they have a very relaxed camera policy, so I'll be able to take my SLR and get some awesome pics...I'll post them in the other bands part of the forum when I get them.
