    It goes a little deeper than that. I think you have to listen to Ed's comments between
    songs when they played there last time. I can't quote it directly, but it was along the
    lines of Dave giving them the opportunity to play when things they were saying weren't
    exactly popular at the time.

    My guess is that Ed or someone else in the band probably gave him a heads up that this
    was in the works.

    FINALLY!!

    Jeff Ament and Will Farrell will be on the same show....

    I think it's time for Will to play a joke and play bass pretending to be Jeff. I think he looks similar enough that many people wouldn't catch it right away.

    It could work, but he's already in a big time band. He drums for RHCP.
