Now give us a TWEET with an album release date and the remainder of the tour dates!!!
AND I'll be seeing Ed in Albany exactly a week after this appearance on TV. I'm psyched!!!
I doubt we will get a "tweet" for an album release date ... they will likely just drop the news!

Your probably right. But I am anxiously awaiting a tweet about the remainder of the tour dates.
I'm absolutely shocked by this announcement. Really happy! But also shocked!
The fact they are playing new songs has to mean the album will be out waaaay sooner than we thought. Probably July. They played SNL in 2006 a few weeks before Avocado and they played "Grievance" on Letterman about a month before Binaural.
So this life is sacrifice...
6/30/98 Minneapolis, 10/8/00 East Troy (Brrrr!), 6/16/03 St. Paul, 6/27/06 St. Paul
so is the new conan show being taped on west coast? or still in nyc?
west coast
figures since the number i dialed into asking for tickets in an la number... the dude on the phone said the show is overbooked, HOWEVER there is a drop line... starting 10am that day, you might still be able to get in...thank god its not taped in nyc, otherwise id have to call in sick to work and stand on line... even though the chances are slim in getting in...
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...
Guess this means they'll be playing the new songs at the shows this summer then too!

Why doesn't Letterman count? They're all virtually the same as far as promoting an album goes. SNL's bigger than any of them and it didnt give them "the attention the deserve".
Finally, Pearl Jam just might get the recognition they deserve.
They've played late night talk shows before and it hasnt done much.
This is Conan's premiere at the new time slot.
Also, don't underestimate the power of Will Ferrell to draw a nice big audience ... and possibly join them on stage in some capacity (although, he'll leave his cowbell at home ... that's for SNL).
Ahhh, this band is so good ......

Not sure if you were directing that at me.. I think Letterman does count.
Kind of interesting they never did Leno or Conan

Dave's a smart guy. Conan is the new competition and this is the premiere show.
He's paying attention.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me...
The artwork and title must be done by now, then.

I believe he had to move out to Burbank for the Tonight Show. Can't wait for this! I'm thinking we will definitely get a release date before this.

Besides Letterman, what late night talk shows have they done? (Not including SNL as a talk show)
