I remember when the only Pearl Jam songs I ever heard on the radio were Even Flow, Alive, and Jeremy. If I was lucky I got to hear Daughter or Betterman. Last Kiss still gets a lot of radio play too. But now that I have sirius satellite radio, I hear all kinds of songs now. I have Pearl Jam programmed on mine, so every time a Pearl Jam songs comes on it beeps. I hear Black and Dissident a lot. Corduroy, Yellow Ledbetter, Small Town once in a while. The "new" version of Brother has been making the rounds lately. Sure beats the old days of the same 3 'Ten' songs over and over again, although they still get played a lot to this day. It's nice to hear some more variety. I'm really surprised that I've never heard Given to Fly, I am Mine, or World Wide Suicide on the radio before.

What Pearl Jam songs have you heard on the radio? What songs haven't you heard??

haven't heard much variety on the radio, but one time i was walking through safeway and all of a sudden the studio version of "leaving here" comes on! i literally stopped in my tracks and had a weird "is this really happening?" moment, mostly becuase right before that they were playing lady in red or some other lite rock travesty. weird.

I haven't intentionally listened to the radio since I got an iPod in 2004. I buy cd's of everything I want to hear and put them on the iPod. I never ever have to hear the "Wacky Morning Drive Time Show with Krazy Guy and Sidekick" or commercials any more. As a result music actually comes out of the speakers in my car. What a concept. Since the iPod more accurately fulfills my music listening needs I can't justify paying for a subscription to a satellite radio plan or springing for more hardware. Seems like a waste of money.

If I have to listen to the radio I turn it to a local Spanish/Latino channel so I don't understand the commercials. Also because that music always sounds happy. Waaaaaaaaaayyy better than hearing Nickelback or Bush by accident ever again.

Lithium is great because they play absolutely everything from the 90s and not just the major hits. Last week I heard Seasons by Chris Cornell from the Singles soundtrack. I also heard Frown by the Smashing Pumpkins and also from the Singles soundtrack. The Singles soundtrack still rules by the way!

Next time you hear Pearl Jam on the radio, click the "memo" button. It'll ask you if you want to "store artist" or "store song". I think it holds up to 20 or 30 total. You don't want to store too many artists or songs or the thing will be beeping all the time. But everytime a Pearl Jam or Eddie Vedder song comes on, it'll beep and I switch to that station. Oh and anytime Hungerstrike by Temple of the Dog plays, too!

No I've never heard Release. Lithium is a good station. They play a lot of Pearl Jam, but I have yet to hear Release. I probably will now though. It always happens that way!

PJ have only had two singles released in the UK with Alive and Jeremy so it would seem....

They are the only ones I have heard on the radio here. Then again, because they didn't win a talent show or are Take That, that's probably why we don't hear them.

I remember Radio 1 playing a live version of Black once, but even recent radio friendly stuff like Life Wasted has had no radio play over here.
    :D Rock on!!!! :D
Seen Pearl Jam 4 times in London, once in Manchester, as well as an Eddie show at Hammersmith.

I have Sirius Satellite Radio too. Much better than FM radio!

XM's Lucy (90's alternative) was better than Sirius's Lithium. Since they merged the programming, I'm stuck with Lithium. Too much of the stuff that made me change the channel in the station in the 90's. However, I do have a jam band station now. :D

We have a station, 97.7 Hits FM and they play Glorified G all the time which is awesome. Our other alternative/rock station, 102.1 the Edge always plays a lot of Pearl Jam before and after concert announcements and the days leading up to the band being in town. They play all the usual ones and also World Wide Suicide, I am Mine and Given to Fly.
