I saw Pearl Jam for the second time, and it was awesome. A perfect Summer day, and a perfect show. Daughter was played as the second song, first time on the 2003 tour that Red Mosquito and Evacuation were played, also got In Hiding, Footsteps, Not For You with a 'Start Me Up' tag. And even though it doesn't say it this way on PJ.com, we also got a third encore of Ledbetter, as the band definitely left the stage and came back after Fuckin' Up, and Ed said something like, this one is courtesy of Mr. Stone Gossard, which I assume means he was willing to pay the fine for going over curfew.

I wouldn't say I disliked the first time I saw them, but this show definitely sealed the deal for me.

Does anyone who shared this experience with me in Columbus, Ohio care to say a few words?
words seem so out of place.

Actually I got up this morning and it felt like it was different. I've actually seen PJ twice on this day. I saw them in 03 as well and it also was my second time seeing them (my first was in the same venue in august 2000) but i also saw them in Cincy in 06 on this day!

So, this is my unofficial PJ day! But yes i remember the 03 show like it was just yesterday. I remember feeling let down though at daughter being the second song and there was no chanting or yelling or other song to follow it. I did like the emergence of Red Mosquito. The start me up tag on not for you was awesome! Also, do you remember everyone was banging on their seats and, as eddie recalled, it sounded like the 7 year locuts?! That was pretty cool. But the song that stands out from that show to me is definately wishlist. I remember they brought out the disco ball and mike did an awesome solo! And yes i did feel kinda special when they broke out yellow ledbetter after the curfew. I've always wondered if they have towns or cities or venues that they prefer to play. since we don't all live next to the gorge or msg i've always wanted to know what PJ thinks are venues that get them psyched up!
