    got tix. got hotel. so far brother= no can't go, best friend = can't tell ya for a month or two... wtf? I'm trying to decide if I'll use FF miles to fly for free, or drive with some locals. got some time for that but the FF mile tix should be purchased sooner than later. i haven't driven into canada in years, so i have no idea what to expect. I suppose it depends what bridge you cross in the buff / niag falls area? anyone else know?

    yeah i havent been to CA since the 05 tour...well 06 i think went to newfoundland and nova scotica for a little vaca..didnt really care to drive the 8 hrs to go to TO n see pj..on time.id opt to go to chi-town to see em...drive the extra 5 hrs lol.now if they did a few shows there...hmmm maybe:)...i can wait...havent seen pj since 06...i can wait a few more months..i survived this long:)

    btw...myself n my buddies had no trouble crossing the border...nor did myself and my wife the following yr...i had my passport :)

    Bring a passport, and whatever you do, don't tell Border Patrol that you're going to Canada for a concert. Give them a reason not to search you.

    Ha, this is exactly what I did when I drove up to Montreal for EV last year. ;) They didn't give me any trouble at all, though.

    Thanks (you too bugs). I travel a crapload for work (2 yrs ago, I had pages added to my passport coz it was full). I wonder if I said I was coming in for the CNE? I'll post that suggestion over there on the "got toronto tix" thread.

    except for the HUGE waste of time it would be, I don't care if they search. I'm clean to the point of boring (never have done, never will do drugs of any kind, sans al-key-hall). but.. it's actually the pain in the ass I'm looking to avoid. I'd easily spend the 25k FF miles, JUST to avoid that... but I checked and I'd have to fly either thru ORD or IAD... now it becomes a toss up... border patrol, or 2 of the crappiest airports in the US (ok, ok, ORD has gotten better now that the economy sucks and they're only running at 200% capacity, instead of 450%).

    lol. when i went to ottawa in 05, the first question the border guy asked me is if i was a big pearl jam fan. :D 06 for toronto, i got pulled over and searched thoroughly. my luck at the border has been 50-50. :lol:

    my plan will be to CRANK some Rush and once i reach the dude/dudette, have it switch to the Barenaked Ladies mashup with Alanis Morissette, singing a Celine Dion song. They'll probably put my picture on some of their money after that?

    Well this visit of mine is turning into a little east coast tour lol.
    I will be in Albany 1st of course, but I have to show my face in NJ to see my uncle & family, aswell as seeing my friend in CT. Cannot wait tho !!! :o Getting a tattoo this week, busy busy!

    LOL Calum...doing well! have been laying low since the big ticket sale...reading this board...I do that often! I am excited to say that I am going to Chicago!!! Bringing my husband with me for that one..It will be fun!

    I still can't wait to see Eddie and will be the start of my fun-filled EV/PJ summer...I have a feeling it's going to be the best summer ev-ah!!!!! LOL

    Once again, I am look forward to meeting everyone...I can't wait to meet people that share the same freakishly but beautiful obsession that "is" Pearl Jam! :D

    Obsession... yes.. but a beautiful one.. damn right 8-) if you're going to believe in something, make it the best. I have a good feeling about this summer too, plenty of new experiences for me, that is for sure! I picked up my notebook today, which I want everyone to sign (only if they want of course) :P

    I am doing well Cal. Kind of upset that I am not going to be able to catch the Toronto PJ show. My wife and I did not think it was wise to travel the 4 hours when she is 36 weeks pregnant. But we are excited about the Albany show, and can't wait to meet everyone.

    Hi Calum,

    I'm doing well. It has been raining here in Massachusetts the last few days...almost like living in the UK? LOL!

    No tickets to Toronto or Chicago for me. I'm holding out for west coast dates. I have never been to the west coast of the US. I hope to catch a few shows with Jecica. :D

    I can't wait for Albany and I'm also going to Atlanta...both times with Jecica. I'm looking forward to the pre-parties too!
