I thought I'd already bought my membership a while back, turns out when I signed in I hadnt finished or purchased, so Im not included in the pre-sale as I olny just bought it 10 minutes ago. Especially when I've got a girlfriends 21st birthday tomorrow! I'm gutted! Perfect present opportunity lost!
As for those going to Nine Inch Nails and MIchael Jackson. You are truly lucky people! best I can hope is that my company will be roadying the MJ gigs and I might be doing Holland for NIN now I can't go to Sonisphere. Although sonisphere are claiming to have a HUGE announcement coming up. If it's PJ I'm kicking myself. PJ, NIN and AiC. Too god!!!

Seen a fair few things at the o2 now. Prince, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Leonard Cohen, AC/DC (who I didn't think were that loud but I was about halfway back on the floor) and now Pearl Jam are to be added to this list.

Anyone looking to do London on a budget, there's some good hostels on Borough High Street (London Bridge) and it's not too far to the o2.
The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits

I've never been either, but I'm going to see something far better than Michael Jackson!

I'm seeing Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction in July.

Got to sort out my Ten Club tickets for this gig though! :D

me tooooo. :D NINJA and PJ, and not MJ.
Kids! Bringing about Armageddon can be dangerous. Do not attempt it in your own home.

I was at the metallica gig at the O2 back in Sept. Yeah pretty good venue. Not sure if the round would suit PJ but hey why not mix it up a little?

Having never been to the O2 before, i'm now goign twice within the month of August!!

Michael Jackson!!! ...... then Pearl Jam.... can't wait.

    michael jackson?

    seriously?

    :?
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Hello all!

I live in India, and have never watched Pearl Jam live before! I've been a fan for about a decade, and am hoping to catch the Manchester and London gigs on the upcoming Europe tour.

Few questions: (pardon the ignorance, I've never been to a concert in another country before)

    1. Standing tickets is the way to go, right? I've been a Ten Club member since July 2007, so reserved tickets based on seniority is clearly not the option for me. If I get to the venue hours in advance, is it possible to get right up-front?

    2. Pre-Sale tickets go on sale to all Ten Club members on the 30th April, but there only seems to be an option to buy tickets in pairs. I will be going to the London gig with 2 friends, and Manchester gig alone. Is it not possible to buy an odd number of tickets?

If not, is it easy to find people on this board whom I could sell the extra ticket for each gig to?

Also, for sale to general public - are single tickets available? I could merge my Ten Club pair with a general for London then.

    3. What's the best way to get to Manchester from London, and vice-versa. I'll be on a tight budget, and spending much on travel really isn't a part of the plan. Please do suggest!

    4. Anything else you'd suggest so I can have the best first Pearl Jam live experience? : )

(it would also extremely help if you could reply to me by email to anuj AT gigpad DOT com!)

    Thanks!

Can't wait for the 02 gig now! The venue's got some great acoustics, which should do the band proud.
  • Hey hey, I'm watching Spinal Tap there. Will be scoping it out for PJ.

only been in the Arena once so far (Kings of Leon) and the Indigo for The Who
Had tickets for Metallica but bad shit happened.
willl be at NIN/JA though in July.

I'd put off going to shows there because I feared the transport but it's not too bad if I fork out for the train from Waterloo on top of the tube there (by tube only otoh would be near impossible on the way back..and way too far for my usual London transport: cycle).

anyway, if we head into town for partying that'll be allright

If anyone has 1 spare standing ticket for the O2 gig, I'd love to take that & add it to my spare & give those to a couple of mates who are non 10C-ers but lifetime fans.

Please let me know if anyone has a spare

    ALTERNATIVELY...
I might end up having a spare if the above doesn't happen - will know for sure after the general sale, so we are waiting on the off-chance that there may be some standing tickets held-back for general sale.

PM me if you are interested & I'll keep you on file for when the time comes.

    :)
