Are you serious a plane ticket from NY to the UK is 1200$ wtf!!

    Really I was just there and they were way more than 700. Am I doing something wrong on Kayak?

    I married a Flight attendant, I fly stand-by. Never sure if there will be an opening on the flight, but I only have to pay taxes when I travel out of the US. Will check out the flights to Rotterdam and Amsterdam 8-) a week before the shows & then decide. I can always get a ticket for the show the last minute.

    I'd go if I had the money...and England, Berlin and Rotterdam in August would be an awesome trip too.

    the flights i have looked at have all been about 700-800 roundtrip buts thats from boston

    flights can get much cheaper last minute...that's how I ended up going to Lollapaloza after all, buying the flight a week before (on the day they announced the Vic actually).

    flights might get cheaper with the Mexican flu thing (apparently airlines share took a hit because of it) too.
