Ha, sounds like a great idea. I haven't listened to mine in a few, actually, many months. I'm due to drop the needle on this bad Larry!

I drank too much wine last night and I don't own Benaroya vinyl... so yeah. But I'm pretty jealous!

ArcticAngel.. I hope that one day either PJ will re-issue or that someone will liberate a copy from some douchebags.wall so that you can enjoy it as much as I have. Records are not meant to be currency nor should they be a status symbol.. Tenclub, Reprint these already!!! I paid way too much for mine and could not give a shit about resell value!

I probably shouldn't say it here.. How much do you think would be too much? Let's just say that I am one of those assholes who helped inflate the price to where it is now.. Yet it was still worth every cent. Seriously.. What it is worth to me is fairly close to what I actually paid..

    drinking, yes.

benny hall vinyl, no. i'm still a little bitter that the web site went to shit that day, but oh well. i might actually be listening to something better - the soundcheck from randall's island 9/29/96. as amazing as that show was, the soundcheck might be just about as incredible.

    I agree.
Life is too short for shrink wrap and poster tubes.
My posters and vinyl are only worth as much as how happy they make me.
    If that makes sense... :)

vinyl and poster collectors remind me of that guy Vedder talks about in "Soon Forget".
Just to make it clear, I'm not talking about those who buy them then immediately start enjoying them (by playing the vinyls, framing up the posters and hanging them up)

    Just got the folks' old turntable up and running. I grew up spending my allowance in one of the local Toronto records stores and now that I'm going vinyl the owner said he's holler at me anytime he gets PJ in. Obviously he would never come across a Benny or ITW, but I'd really love to hear them on the new (old) turntable. Arghhhhhhhhhnsdkc iewc lybclwnybc;vyc b;v ;

This is up there with my favourite Pearl Jam releases.
Love listening to this in bed before I go to sleep!
In fact, I did last night after a night out at the football!
I would love to own it on vinyl, but it's rare and very pricey am I right??? :?

I am not a douchebag. But my Benny is sealed. I'll open it when the time is right.

I don't mean to nit pick, but isn't the cd as good sound quality as the vinyl?

Absolutly not.. I tried to convince myself of that lie until I broke down and bought one.. The High end is much less harsh and the bass is warm and fuzzy.. With it spread over 8 sides the grooves are deep and the sound is rich.. It's also nice that the vinyl is the exact hue of the Merlot (yellow tail) I was drinking while spinning it. ;) Sorry for saying douchebag last night, btw.. Again I beg the band to re-issue this on vinyl. Everyone should be allowed to own this!

    Precisely.
And if it does leave my hands, the lucky bidder will pay $40 because I got a great deal on mine from ChampagneBrkfst in 06.
