Has anyone been to a Sounds of Seattle show?

I got an email earlier in the week offering free tickets to the Sounds of Seattle tribute show up in Cleveland tonight. I went ahead and paid $2 (ticketmaster fees) for two tickets, because I had nothing planned and thought it could be fun, interesting, or entertaining.

I am just wondering if anyone has been to one of these shows and if the acts are actually any good. I have been to many concerts over the years, but I have never seen a cover band. The show features Ten (A tribute to Pearl Jam), Nevermind (Nirvana tribute band), and Badmotorfinger (Soundgarden/Temple of the Dog tribute). I heard some of the samples of the tribute band Ten online and the singer isn't horrible, but it just sounds like he tries to make his voice all stiff and sounds like a pretty awful eddie imitator. If he would just sing using his normal voice he would probably sound alot better.

Any reactions, suggestions, reviews, or opinions?

Thanks,

Tauran

I've seen Ten and they are a great band. I am assuming that another member from Ten is the Chris Cornell impersonator, since they covered quite a few Soundgarden/TOTD songs when I saw them and he was spot on. Let me know how the show is as I am going to checking out the Sounds of Seattle show in Pittsburgh on Feb. 27th.

I heard TEN was really good. Nevermind is a fuckin awesome tribute to Nirvana. I was skeptical at first but if your gonna be a Nirvana tribute band you had better bring it and they did. I would def see them again. Let us know how the show was.
Let's see those 2013 dates in the southern states.

I love the Sounds of Seattle shows! Ten is no Pearl Jam, but they make for a really fun night out. I feel lucky that their hometown is Pittsburgh---same as me!---because I try to see them as often as possible. Nevermind is just awesome. They are not to be missed.

Theyre coming my way soon and was thinking about going. Checked them out on myspace, and by no means was expecting spot on vocals. But it sounded like Scott Stapp singing PJ. Yikes
