good percentages... i'll just make sure to put a lot of " ;) " & " " if i'm making one of my "over-the-line" jokes here
That should work. If not, the 'in hindsight' apologies will get you out of trouble, too ;)

It's not because you consider it 'old fashion' (what an excuse!), it's because you are a tight, penny pinching scotsman!

    this is so true.

p.s. i even used someone else internet connection to type this reply back ;)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

The other girl was quite nice. So I bought her a drink. But I didn't buy that other 'dumb bitch' a drink.

I thought the proper etiquette these days was to bring the lady to the bar so that she can see you're not drugging her? Or do we buy one for each of us and let them choose? Take a sip from theirs first so that they know it's ok? ah, the joys of modern courtship....

I've only offered to buy a girl a drink once....she accepted and came to the bar with me...between intros and getting to the bar, I managed to forget her name....my friend approached us at the bar...his first question? 'who's your friend?'....

    That's quite thoughtful. I'm impressed.

    Hahaha... excellent!

I never expect to get bought drinks but it's nice when they do... and it's nice when they notice yours is empty and go without finishing theirs... although when my drink's empty, I never really give them enough time to get to the bar. Life's too short to wait around for men to buy drinks  . If her drink was empty it was rude of HER to be waiting for one to be bought... and then getting her friend to explain the 'etiquette' cheap bitches  you sure they weren't Scottish?

Sometimes I just hate being the wingman.
On Friday night my mate was being a smart arse and trying to hook me up with a psycho girl

Girls, if a guy buys you a drink, do you buy him a drink next and then you both go round for round? That's what I used to do.

I hate chicks that make men spend a shitload of cash on them when they aren't even interested in the guy at all. I also let a guy know straight away that I'm not single....and if he still wants to buy me a drink he can. Most guys don't bother to buy me a drink after I tell them that....which is fine....no point wasting their money on me when it's not going to get them anywhere.
Oh I always get them back... for a man to buy me drink all night, he has to physically almost hold me down while he pays  . It's something I'm not comfortable with... I've had it happen and while it's nice not to spend money you feel like you SHOULD feel like you owe them 'something' although I don't feel like that  If they've no chance, I'd usually be straight from the beginning anyway.

Ooohh I hate when you forget their name... I usually have to be told a name twice if I'm sober (5 or 6 times if I'm drunk) but then I never ever forget it.

Well I'm usually sitting AT the bar anyway so it saves both having to walk TO the bar

I find it uncomfortable for a fella I hardly know to buy me a drink, especially since I'm going out with someone. It makes me feel like I've given the wrong impression about my status :?

 I can't tell if you're being serious or mocking me....my post was toungue-in-cheek, but accepting drinks from strangers IS a serious issue these days...I personally know two girls that have been drugged at bars...

Wait....I'm suppose to buy HER a drink??? Man, and here I've been waiting for the girl to buy ME a drink.

A girl that tells you to buy her a drink isn't worth the moeny you spent on it. I have never once asked someone to buy me a drink, pay my dinner etc.... If you offer that's fine but I would never ask, or tell for that matter.
