Seriously. a collectivist based libertarian society can be successful. Fuck government. the first thing motivating those in power is how to keep that power. democrat/republican-who both serve business, don't give a shit about the people if it means they might look bad. dictatorships spend a lot of time with the secret police silencing dissent. See latin America. Even Chavez in Venezuela, he has some great ideas, and has given much to the people-but so much of his budget has to be spent dealing with threats to his power that nothing significant can really be done. Even ideal governments in europe need to be dealt with every few years to be successful. Riots/protests/strikes. Whatever the authority structure, it fails.
I think I can say that in EVERY single case the authorities eventually evolved to serve their own purpose. every case in recorded history.
