I have to admit that it bothers me that a member could be in for 15 years, and miss out on the lottery while another member could have joined last week and win the lotto. .
this is where I disagree... as a member myself since 1996, I found this lottery to be fair. It's exciting for NEW fan club members to reap the benefits of being a 10C member by winning a lottery. I'm happy for them. I'm sure that Eddie will be just as thrilled to see NEW faces in the first few rows at his shows too.

The public sale sounds good but really isn't after ticket master is done with you (credit card charge fee 35.00) I will try to get a pair but if the are more then 150.00 forget it.

As a newer member, I'd like to thank you for having this kind of attitude
I agree that the lottery system is fair to a certain extent. There should be a limited number of tickets done on a lottery and the rest of the fan club seats should be based on seniority. Maybe make the first 2 or 3 rows lottery and then base it on seniority after that. There has to be some advantage to being in the fan club for all these years. Someone could join the club, win the lottery and then leave the club the next year, while the more senior members who have been in for a long time might not get tickets.
Another thing that really bugs me is seeing that some people got picked for Albany 1 and the Albany rollover show while others didn't get either. The second a person got picked for Albany 1, their entry into the rollover show lottery should have been pulled out. I don't care how hard that would have been to do, that's the way it should have worked.
Here's to hoping that future Pearl Jam shows are based on seniority in some way.
Philly night 1 also and Memphis rollover too. THANK YOU 10C !!!!!! Ed playing where David Bowie and Bruce Springsteen played seminal live shows , followed by Ed , Memphis , and Beale Street 10 days later !!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO !!!!!!!!!

I agree with you.
In this case I think its very very different than a regular PJ show, EV tkts are super limited I mean those venues barely hold 3000 people and some even much less than that, so with so much demand I think a lottery was the best way to handle it, I didn't get 10C tkts for Vancouver last year, I didn't even see the Buy button when they went on sale, but then i got tkts through TM.
Now for PJ shows I think its different, we are not talking about 2000 seaters, I think they should continue to do the first few rows as a lottery and then the rest of the seats based on seniority and not a lottery for the whole 10C tkts lot.

Well... since I believe the ROOT of the problem is that TM has a lock on selling a venue's tickets, with the exception of about 10% which goes to TC... why not have TC have the presale thru TM, with unique passwords. Then, you'll have 100% of the venue TC members. And if any are left after the presale, put them on a general on sale at a later date.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you.

It would have to be totally unique for the 10C per member, and I don't know if that's possible. Because if it's just one password/whatever across the board then people outside of 10C will find out what it is and then mass hysteria ensues. This would happen.

Well, it would certainly FIX all these problems. I just don't see why this isn't done. I even PM'd SLC to mention it to him. It seems too obvious for them not to have considered it, so I don't know why they don't do it. All TM would have to do is replace the random-word generator with a unique password given in advance by TC, or even just use the TC member number.
Frankly, TC is earning $6.50 per ticket to sell that 10% (or more) themselves, since face value is $75, making each one $81.50.
If you figure each venue has approximately 3,000 - that leaves TC with 300 seats to sell on their own (or probably a little more). 300 seats x 14 events = 4,200 seats they're selling. 4,200 seats x PJ's $6.50 fee on top of each ticket is $27,300. They'd have to be willing to part with that $27,300 to allow TM to sell for them... but hey, you'd have fans, not scalpers buying the tickets... and TC members filling the venues. And I don't see a problem with that.

My friend and I both got shut out on the Palace both nights. We figured we would be each others back up. So we went 0-4. Really disappointed since some people got in for both nights.
I was under the assumption that the rollover was if you got shut out on night one. I thought that if we got into night one we would not be eligible for night 2. That is how it should have been anyway. I thought One Pair per member:
- Each member is eligible to purchase only ONE PAIR (2 tickets) to ONE confirmed show on the tour.

I won the first Atlanta show, and am still waiting for my ticket comfirmation.... Is this rare, and should I be worried?
I have enough funds in my account, so I am just curious.... Someone please give me some guidance, because I am sooo scared I am losing the tickets! For some reason i keep think maybe they forgot me or something... :( lol
