Holy crap Batman- 8-) NorthEast??? We can only hope. My right index finger will be hurtin tomorrow after hitting refresh a kajillion times.

They might just be announcing the tour. Not necessarily putting tickets onsale. Lets hope not at least. I need more time to save money. ;)

haha I know they probably are just announcing the dates- I really need a friend from my area to keep me updated with all the news around here...almost missed this!

As I read Kats post again, I think your right... I think the talk about being a "sad" whatever is more related to not having memberships up to date by the announcement date....not the inability to purchase tomorrow...hopefully
  • Damn, no internet access at work. Tomorrow is gonna be a loooonnnng day, waiting 'til evening to see what's up. (Maybe an internet cafe visit over lunch hour!)

Single pairs? What do you think?

Oh, there is also that "into the wild" comment.

    Of course...Missed that little snippet;)

    Exciting, nonetheless!!!

For those of you looking for a time frame for announcement for on sale dates:

Last year, we got the email announcement and the posting on the board of the tour dates on the West Coast on 2/15/08. Tickets for all the West Coast EV gigs then went on sale on 2/18/08 via the Ten Club and 2/22/08 to the general public The tour started on April 2nd, not counting the Kenyon Hall dates.

Then in the summer, we got the email announcement on 7/3/08 for the East Coast/Milwaukee/Chicago tour. Ticket sales were staggered for each show and on sale via Ten Club between 7/7/08 and 7/9/08. Tickets were then on sale to the general public on 7/11/08. The tour started 8/1/08.

So if I had to guess, the announcement will be tomorrow. Tickets on sale through the Ten Club staggered early next week and then on sale to the public next Saturday, April 18th.

While the 2nd Kenyon Hall show was fucking AWESOME, I couldn't agree with you more.

Yeah, I am not getting excited about any of this until i see "Seattle, WA" on the tour dates. :|
  • SWEEET!!!!

I'm guessing the emphasis on single...means ONE pair to ONE show. I'm wondering if Ed's playing even SMALLER gigs so to allow as many people to go as possible they are limiting us to one pair to one show each....just a guess. I hope thats not the case though.
Also I pray there is no show near me on July 25th, 30th or June 2nd.
July 25h is my best friend's...and the guy who got me into PJ in the first place....wedding.
July 30th I have tix to Coldplay and June 2nd I have NIN/Janes Addiction tix.

YAY I get to add Eddie to that list :D:D:D

My dad just got home from work and I told him about it now hes all pumped up too!
Problem is I think my mom is gonna want to go too but we can only get two tix per show :(
So hopefully if EV is playing Seattle there will be TWO shows not just one.
    Shows:
    Seattle Key Arena 9-21-2009
    Seattle Key Arena 9-22-2009

Do they list tickets on sale before announcing any dates?
A child's rhyme stuck in my head...
It said "Life is nothing but a dream."
I've spent so many years in question
To find I'd known this all along.
  • Do they list tickets on sale before announcing any dates?

They'll announce dates tomorrow, and sales will follow in a few days/weeks.
