Pearl Jam won Round One, next vote 4/1 10:30 am EST

Pearl Jam is up against Cake in a 64-band competition, ala the NCAA tournament. Let's make sure they don't get knocked out by Cake in the first round.

    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    As of 11:44 am, its 54% Cake, 46% Pearl Jam. Somehow Cake made it very far last year as well...

    Pearl Jam pulled out the victory, 53% to 47%.

    The next matchup will be Wednesday 4/1 at 10:30 am eastern versus Modest Mouse.

    I will edit the title and resurrect this thread on Wednesday morning.

    Actually, it looks like they won Round One last year, but got knocked out by the Sex Pistols in Round 2. Here's to better luck this year!

    This game is fun, especially if you listen along!

    I urge everyone to vote for Silversun Pickups between 5:30 and 6:00. It would be so great if they could upset Coldplay!
    I love Elvis Costello and would vote for him anyway, but a vote for him on Wed @ 10am over Radiohead would be like a vote for Pearl Jam!

    Unfortunately, while the site was down this morning, Pearl Jam lost to Modest Mouse. I think we could've made a difference with our votes...Oh well - there's always next year.
