    I know! I tested it before and cleaned the needle, but only played for a little while. Mine actually sounds pretty decent :lol:

    LOL! I had one of those as a kid, except mine was this nasty beige/brown color I think. Gotta love the early '80s. :D

    What's a good all in one package that I could buy for a turntable? (preferably cheap too)
    Might as well ask here since I have your attention! :D

    Don't worry either, my father is a vinyl nut (Original Beatles White Album First pressing, amongst others 8-) )and he was supervising my actions and the needle it wasn't so drastically bad to cause damage ;)

    its not the needle in this case its that unbalanced arm i would be afraid of
