When I did find out about it ,I didn't sign up because I thought "how childish." Oh... "Dear, Eddie" I thought it was simply fanclub letters and things like that.

Iv'e been a huge fan from day one and have seen many shows and bought tons of merch...but I resisted joining what I felt was a "cult" for many years until my ex-girlfriend signed me up in 2006. I'm now glad she did.
I do have to say though...I have never really gotten bad seats from TM... ect.

We had just seen the band at a benefit concert and my friend enjoyed the performance so much she promptly went out and bought TEN. I still remember that November ’92 evening listening to my friend’s new CD. I was reading the booklet that accompanied the CD as I listened to the music. I vividly remember the offer in the closing pages indicating you could join the bands club for only $1.00. Well I guess it didn’t seem necessary at the time. The following year VS. would change that attitude.
I know that it is not the worst number in the world, but it is really shitty if you're trying to get good seats for any of the Boston shows.
