I am like a lot of others out there that let our originals slip away "back in the day".
I was a member back in the mid 1990's. I can't remember my number but I thought about trying to dig it up in all of my stuff even though it would probably be a little disappointing. However, like someone posted before, it really doesn't matter the number. I still love and buy all of the bands music, have an amazing time at their concerts, and I am just happy supporting the band. I love everything the band does for us including all of the extras like the individual show posters, the bootlegs, the way they handle tickets, and all of the other goodies & surprises.
One good thing that came from my original membership was when I was able to order (through the mail, no internet) an Ireland poster from Cork/Dublin. I did not go to the show but I thought it looked super-cool. See, it's right over there on the wall . . . ( I just looked to my right as I typed). Sorry, a little sleep deprivation for me here.
