when i was in Dublin i was kinda quieter but thats cos i had the wife with me... .... she also keeps slapping me cos of things i say... which can get a bit annoying.

Don't make me laugh... quiter because of your lovely wife! Has the visit to London with her and the drinks down at the Bunker (?) been erased from your mind? You were everything but quiet (and by the end of the evening I couldn't understand you). Yep... she does keep you on your toes though!

I've met up woth most of the Uuros who frequent here and they are as lovely as their on screen persona.. CHime, VV, Redrock, eMMi... all lovely people... Byrnzie is a fucking animal... as is Irish Al... and Helen has an amazing stayin awake/drinking capacity... not as good as mine like, but good all the same.... ;) but she is just the same on here as she is in real life (thats scary isnt it)

i really want to meet up with more of these guys again.. next PJ show!!! :D

You're so sweet (I know... your hidden little person!). Can't wait for another meet up with all of us!

Now the big question! Am I the same? I think I am. My accent is a bit different though ;)

oh man... The Bunker!!! what a night... how could i forget

yeah that was a night and a half wasnt it? :D

you're actually more talkative in person than on here... very confident and very welcoming... but you are the same i would say... for some reason i thought you'd talk in a french accent :? .... or perhaps i just thought that because of the wee outfit you wear in my.... oops, i;ve said wayyy too much!!

same with Chimey... quiet on here... but talks and chats away in real-life.. which is great! :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

There's not much difference in the man I want to be and the man that I really am. ;)

  • I'm the same. In real life I'm very shy around people I don't know and I come off aloof. Won't really engage until I'm comfortable around them and w/ the topic of conversation. Then they either get my sarcasm or they don't. Same here. Read a lot of posts on the old site and here before actually posting. As several of you have noted, sarcasm does not translate well here so I'm sure some of the few comments I've made have been taken the wrong way.
    I can't teach common sense.
  • Although in the case of comebackgirl she recognized me by the back of my head...uncanny!!

i'm not even going to go there ;)

i'll just let my imagination run wild...

Agreed! It's far too easy to take things the wrong way and/or personally online and I hate the drama that comes with it, so I tend to be a goodie-goodie. I'm way more sarcastic/crass/rude in person, but in a cute way, of course

    It's true! I don't know how I knew it was you - just a 6th sense or something :)

Me and another Pit friend were talking about past tours, all the people we've met from here and comparing people's board personality to their "in-person" personality.

So I was wondering if you alter your personality on here because it's the internet and you can, or are you the 'what you read is what you get' kind of person? :?:

I'm usually more shy in person. But basically the same. Still get treated the same crappy way.
