that's from the showbox dvd, actually, but yes, it is totally amazing. and i i am remembering right (haven't listened to that show in a bit), that jam goes right into immortality, which is maybe the best version ever. the jam at the end of that one is freaking amazing as well...

i think that whole japanese tour had both some of the best setlists of their career, as well as some of the best performances...coming off the, IMHO, somewhat weak aussie tour, those japanese shows were a VERY pleasant surprise.

I went over to these shows, and I do agree that they were some of the best most intimate shows from this band I've ever seen. Tokyo was great, Osaka was phenomenal, but Nagoya was the most intimate. A cool old art deco theater that was as close as seeing the mighty PJ machine in your living room. And yes, that improv to immortality part was a goose bump moment for sure...

note: the 10c, at one point, had said a Yokohama DVD was in the works, but then it was scrapped. Does anyone remember this? I always thought that was a strange choice out of all the Nippon shows, but I would still love to see a full length official DVD of a show from this tour....

Daughter from Nagoya is amazing too. The tag is a improv similar to "Arc" or "The Wolf". Ed's vocal is brilliant.
IMHO, it is the best show from Japan Tour 2003.
