Finally got my holy grail of posters...

Well jsut bought it on ebay. the 1998 NYC poster. it was framed for $242 with shipping. pretty pumped
I used to be MILKwasAbadChoice...Now I am just FW46778...a math teacher in jersey

    Will be the only 98 i buy, because those are the shows i went to. I always told myself though that if i get it at a good price i won't hesitate. i am super pumped. should be funny to see my girlfriend's reaction when she sees another poster on the wall.

    this new bored is nuts by the way. it says when we joined the tenclub lol..no more lying about high or low numbers. kinda diggin it though...so pumped that i joined the 10c when i was 14 years and 11 months old.

    Not quite sure how that joined thing works, I joined the FC well before 2006. Possibly when my membership lapsed???

    i think people who have the name and numbers things are when they joined the 10c..my name and numbers thing is i signed in with my old email address and account i usually pay with for my membership and goods. im thinkin that may be the day approx when i joined.

    good work!

    i've had mine since the show, and when i got it, i used thumb tacks to hang it on my bedroom wall (i was like 15, and just didn't think about the future value). its been in a poster tube for the past couple of years, and i am going to take it this saturday to get it framed.

    the four small thumb tack holes piss me off, but i think the frame guys can kinda touch them up...?

    No, for most of us its when you signed up for the previous board after it was retooled I believe that is listed as your join date. (in my case it is)

    Glad to hear it. My Wife got me holy grail poster 1 of 2 last year..Indy 98 A/P, I have to scrounge up some loot before I am ready to go after 2 of 2, Hartford 98 A/P. Anyone have a mint one that accepts a payment plan? I made a deal with her and said if I get the Hartford I would quit collecting posters. She may just buy it for me herself just to stop the addiction.

    That is a great price framed.., hope it arrives in splendid condition and I am sure you already have a special place on the wall picked out. Cheers...
