Anyone trying for Coldplay the night before MSG PJ?

OK, flame away. I like Coldplay, at least enough to go to a free show.

Now that you have that out of your system....


I'm trying for tickets to their free show at the Garden on 6/23. Figured I might as well since I'll be in NYC for PJ anyway. I'm figuring I'm not the only PJ fan giving it a shot.

Does anyone know when they will pick names and how winners will find out?

    You opened yourself up to the naysayers ;-)

    I put in for tickets. Not sure how they go about picking them, but I'm curious as to whether it is for one ticket..or for two. One I presume, but I haven't seen anyting about it. We'll see Thursday I guess.

    We signed up for the show, and I believe they are picking the winners soon, not sure of the exact date.

    I signed up and got my wife to sign up too. Coldplay puts on a good show atleast the one's I've been too. Plus, it'd be a nice warm up for Pearl Jam!

    The only song I like by em is Fix You, the song that was in that commercial for the 9/11 movie with Nicholas Cage. Really emotional song.

    Coldplay is to Radiohead what Creed is to Pearl Jam. Do yourself a favour and just save up for the next Gomez show, still can't believe they were snubbed for best new artist in order for Coldplay to become what they are today.

    Yeah, pretty sure June 5th was the draw date. I hope I get one, though they are my wife's second fave band and I'm going to NYC without her..so I might not be allowed to come back if I do get one. haha
