Just heard this on the Q104 radio station here in Halifax! Check out who got ranked worst! :shock:

5. EDDIE VEDDER

Many of the autograph collectors agreed it was tough to add Vedder to the “bad” signers list. There had been so many positive stories about Eddie Vedder greeting fans and signing for the hounds during his many stops in Toronto touring with Pearl Jam over the years. But something about 2008 was different. Vedder made a two-night solo stop at Toronto’s Massey Hall during August and gave the autograph collectors fits. He just wasn’t into giving any autographs on this trip. Eddie’s personal security did a good job keeping everybody far away. They even took Vedder out a rarely used back door at Massey Hall as opposed to the regular, much more fan-friendly, stage door most performers use.

    maybe he had some place to go at that time, maybe there were some personal matters.we dont know that. your gonna call him a dick based on a shitty ass website thats name is called houndog.com and has the jonas bros in a top 5 list.


    also if u look closely they show ed leaving through the back door but then cut to him walking off his tour bus and into massey hall. basic editing skills. what a joke website.

    well he is only human like the person before me said maybe he had a personal matter or something
    plus i heard he signed at some of his other shows so its not like he isnt generous to the fans

    Look, I dont care who you are, if everytime you walked outside in a public place, you got hounded for conversations or autographs or whatever, you would likely have nights like this too. I honestly cannot imagine having to always consider my surroundings like Eddie must have to. Granted, he is famous and rich and successful and all that, but first and foremost he is a person just like you and me. Give him a damn break!

    Give him a break. His hand was probably tired from playing that night. Hopefully he'll sign a lot of super deluxe editions before they get shipped out.

    I don't blame any celebrity from Ed to Angelina Jolie for having times when they don't want to deal with the fans, I think that many of us through the years have seen Ed be very gracious when signing autographs and taking the occasional picture and specially having conversations with fans after a show, before a show or even at other non PJ-show events.... like any other celebrity or like many of us there has got to be times when he just doesn't want to be bothered...

    Ed's got a family now. He's always gonna get more requests than he can handle. I think he did it with a smile and a "cheers" notion, so I think he did what he could, if he had other things needing his quicker attention. If this were the only autographs he were ever asked for, that would be one thing, but he's got dozens of people outside each and every show, and many times he hangs and chats. Sometimes he can't...

    Yikes! Poor Eddie! Atleast he acknowledged the fan lifting his arm, almost to say.. "I can't right now" I wish I could get that close to Ed for even one second. I wouldn't care if he stopped to sign an autograph for me! I agree with what others have said about celebs in general, that they have to deal with flocking fan ALL of the time. This review makes it sound like Eddie turned to his fans and spit in his face and kicked 'em in eye!!!

    Every time i have gotten him he has been great. After the Vancouver shows and the VH1 rock honors show he was good. Still Mike is the all time.

    I never understood the point of autographs anyway. Have thousands of people chase you down and act like you're their best friend everytime you go out and then call you a dick when you blow them off and see how fast you get tired of it.

    How long after the show did Ed come out? My wife and I waited around before....but were told we just missed him on night 1by 10 minutes. He arrived in a white cargo van sitting in the front seat....nobody expected him to arrive in that so...he popped out and into the building.....so close yet so far away.

    I would rather chat with Ed for 20 minutes than have anything autographed....I dont own a single PJ autograph....it would be neat I guess.....but Im not the type to wait hours for an autograph.....however I totally respect the people that do.
