wmv or asf to mp4

I need help. I recently got an iPod and want to put the Reading2006 video on it. I managed to convert the original asf file to wmv (using Windows Media Encoder) but now I'm stuck. Does anyone here know how to convert the wmv file into a mp4?

    Im in the same boat, just bought an ipod 30gig video an I don't know how to convert files to mp4 so I got no movies on there :(

    You need another converter software. iTunes won't convert all videos to mp4.
