whats this youtube thingie actually??
how can i make my own youtube film or convert one of my mpeg film files to youtube??
finally, how can i download the youtube files?? they seem to me like those streaming music sites, where one can go to and hear, but never download. is it possible to download/"save" thje youtube films one sees?>

They don't use a different format than standard mpeg, as far as i know.
They just stream it back to the site once you've uploaded it.
As far as ripping their streams ... there are a few sites on the net that provide resources to do that (and to some extent depends on if you are PC or MACing it) ...
