does anyone know how to find the IP address of the person i chat with on yahoo messenger???
it has happened to me once - so i want to know how it was done.
i was chatting with someone on yahoo messenger, and then that guy used some or the other concept to find out what my IP address was and also which OS i use and what name i registered it under. i still dont have a clue how he did it.

Older versions of YM had some serious security issues so make sure you have the latest update which fixed most of them. Also turn on your firewall.
