    I have never heard ONE person say that he was in anyway funny...or "not annoying", yet he keeps popping up everywhere.

    his bit on the evolution of how the middle finger came about was pretty funny.

    BUT, there's no way he's a top comedian.

    I've never understood the hype behind Cook. He's not funny and I've always wondered how that can be when he steals jokes from other comics. How can you NOT get that right?

    he is not funny at all. everyone at my high school thinks he is hilarious, i have no idea why. he not funny at all. i have never laughed at any of his jokes. the ones ive seen just got me pissed of about how someone as untalented as him is famous
    they call them fingers, but i never see them fing. oh, there they go

    I really think it's the same people who love Nickelback who love Dane Cook. It just seems that poor taste is unlimited in some folks.

    The Office took a shot at him in a clever way.....Michael (Steve Carrell) is trying to befriend his coworkers kids and he goes "who here likes Dane Cook?" and the kids are all like "ME!! I do!! I do!!"

    as if to say his brand of comedy is mostly a hit with junior high kids...to them, he is totally hip and clever

    i'd say the same thing about Carlos Mencia

    The hubby and I, at the urging of our kids, watched some special he was on a couple of years ago and we did not laugh once.

    My favorite comedian these days - Dunkman - just a few taps on his keyboard and I'm spitting out a mouthful of beer.

    either that or it's one of the cool trends to hate a comedian because everyone is doing it

    exactly, his stand up is decent, he has some pretty funny bits.

    he just wasnt meant to be in movies, hes a terrible actor.

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
