Yes, the best dog beach in San Diego or maybe even southern california for that matter, only because it is sectioned off by the military fence, which helps keep the canines under control.
Have you been down the silver strand bike trail? Gotta do it at least once. Stop in at the Marina and eat at the greasy spoon.0 -

Yup! Every summer my grandparents would take us camping at Silver Strand and we'd bike up and down there for hours everyday. This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper0 -

Camping on the silver strand? You mean at the state beach? You must be referring to a mobile home type camping situation, am I correct?0 -

That is a crazy job but very in demand. Make sure you do as much due diligence on the family as they do on you.AmentsChick wrote:I have completely fallen in love with NYC. I think my solution to the $$ thing is to be a live-in nanny.
We have a nanny and treat her like she is part of the family. Make sure you get a family like that.

Ever do that in the year '93? I worked at the snack bar that summer. I hung out with a couple of chicks who were camping there one day. That would be seriously awesome if you were one of those chicks.
Anyhow, whenever I think of the strand state beach, I can't help but remember that sick fucking pervert David Westerfield, as that is where he took that little girl. OMG, if I had been working the snack bar that summer, I like to think that I would've been able to sense that he was a sicko, and I would taken off my apron, walked outside, and kicked the ever loving shit out of him. But, that's another head trip.0 -
thats some funny shit. I read it in yesterdays free Epoch Times here in NY and I'd say its pretty accurate for the most part. I never thought Philly had ugly people tho, lol... theres some cute girls there!
I wanna go live with the smart people in Seattle!
Aah, fuck it, I’m just gonna go home, turn on the fuckin’ TV...
Watch the nightly news and drink a beer...
Like I could even change the world, yeah right...

I'm nanny to 3 little girls (all under the age of 5!!!). And, yeah, they are like family to me...I work for the COOLEST people ever. Totally into music, they're young, both doctors. I love them! And they treat me great (for the most part).
BUT...I want to move away from SD so badly...hopefully NYC.This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper0 -

I was the only non-white person working at the snack bar that summer.
Man...the owners were so cool. They were twins who played in a local metal band. One night they were playing a house party in Tierra Santa and took my friend and me along as "roadies" so we could get in without paying the cover charge.
Perhaps one of the craziest parties I've ever been to.0 -
