That is a crazy job but very in demand. Make sure you do as much due diligence on the family as they do on you.
We have a nanny and treat her like she is part of the family. Make sure you get a family like that.
I'm nanny to 3 little girls (all under the age of 5!!!). And, yeah, they are like family to me...I work for the COOLEST people ever. Totally into music, they're young, both doctors. I love them! And they treat me great (for the most part).
BUT...I want to move away from SD so badly...hopefully NYC.

thats some funny shit. I read it in yesterdays free Epoch Times here in NY and I'd say its pretty accurate for the most part. I never thought Philly had ugly people tho, lol... theres some cute girls there!
I wanna go live with the smart people in Seattle!
I know! My friend nfanel lives in philly and she's gorgeous!!!
P.S. Hi Nic!!

Ever do that in the year '93? I worked at the snack bar that summer. I hung out with a couple of chicks who were camping there one day. That would be seriously awesome if you were one of those chicks.
Anyhow, whenever I think of the strand state beach, I can't help but remember that sick fucking pervert David Westerfield, as that is where he took that little girl. OMG, if I had been working the snack bar that summer, I like to think that I would've been able to sense that he was a sicko, and I would taken off my apron, walked outside, and kicked the ever loving shit out of him. But, that's another head trip.
Yup, I was there in 93 (as I was every year).
I don't remember that about Westerfield.

I was the only non-white person working at the snack bar that summer.
Man...the owners were so cool. They were twins who played in a local metal band. One night they were playing a house party in Tierra Santa and took my friend and me along as "roadies" so we could get in without paying the cover charge.
Perhaps one of the craziest parties I've ever been to.

Interesting. I wonder how they arrived at those rankings.
The results are in!
For our 2008 America's Favorite Cities survey, Travel + Leisure teamed up with CNN Headline News and asked travelers to rank 25 top U.S. cities in 45 categories, ranging from food and shopping to people, culture, nightlife, and more. More than 600,000 surveys were submitted by opinionated travelers.
Home base for edgy chefs, alternative rock bands, progressive environmentalists, and urban-planning junkies, Portland has developed major-league hipster cachet over the past few years. Visitors will find Portlanders a friendly, easygoing bunch happy to share their terrific restaurants and bars, burgeoning arts scene, and gorgeous parks. And who can blame them if, in their hearts, they’d rather keep their small (pop. 500,000) city small?

Yep, sounds like this guide is fairly accurate

Actually, I think the people here are worse then Philly.. Midwesterners wear a lot of mom jeans..
Or maybe those are tourists from Philly
HAHAHA...maybe so, because apparently phillyans aren't very stylish either.
Is it really?? I was joking, but they look so cute and sweet! I want to squish them!
I mean, it would be bad if I brought the city down, eh?
