Actually, I'm more of an elmo jammies kinda gal, so lingerie shopping has been a real eye opener for me! But thoroughly enjoyable, and quite possibly could be addictive.
Oh and what made my day so far?

Sunday morning coffee together
A week since I smoked or had sugar! WOOHOO!
Oh and the bowl of blueberries, canteloupe and strawberries I'm about to eat!NOPE!!!

I was "doored" on my bicycle today and walked away unscathed...relatively.
I'm okay, but it did piss me off a bit that I got knocked off my bike by an SUV-- A brand new SUV. In fact, it happened outside of the Toyota dealership. He hadn't yet signed the papers. After we exchanged information, he went inside and finished the deal. It sort of reminded me of that scene in The World According to Garp. If you've seen the movie, you know what I'm talking about.
Some very nice people took care of me at the scene, and I got to share my "war story" with the folks at the bike shop when I brought my baby into be fixed. Fortunately, she too was relatively unharmed (a semi-gnarled front-wheel and no damage to the frame).
It's interesting how the body works. For an hour after the crash, I felt little pain.
It's been a few hours now, the shock is wearing off and the pain fairy is visiting. Every fifteen minutes or so, I discover a new place that will be black and blue tomorrow.
So, I walked away from a "door," but that's not what made my day: I told my buddy this story, and he graciously decides to give me a PJ poster from the L.A. show we saw in '06--he had an extra and, as he said, "You've had a shitty day."
