    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    two of those are based off comic books, so hollywood hardly had to write anything. most of the good movies in the last few years have either been remakes, based off comics or books.

    that's irrelevant in my mind - i'm just comparing movies relative to each other ... the last few years have produced some horrible films ... and by hollywood standards - i mean fairly mindless entertaining fare ... where the sole goal should be entertaining the masses ...

    $100 million movies that don't entertain have become the norm ...

    $100 million isnt much to hollywood. no matter how much a movie sucks hollywood makes money anyways. so even if a friends movie would suck it will rake in the green.

    and hollywood isnt about entertaining the masses, dont kid yourself.
