During the 2006 tour I posted requesting many times United Palace as a venue, if u r a new yorker u know the palace, the history and the fabulous seats, beautiful venue

sooo last dec neil young played and I told my friend yep pj/eddie is next and yay! it has arrived

also some jerk said they would never play because of location, sooo ha!

    is that near the inwood neighborhood? i've heard and read decent things about that area.

    umm inwood neighborhood?

    yea washington heights/inwood is the neighborhood

    real estate and the transplants from other boros and states have caused a divide, gentrification and so on

    so yes it is near inwood because inwood is part of wash heights
    but not that close as per redlining and what the transplants to nyc like to think where inwood is


    so with that out of the way how about this board acts like all the crap they talk about and not talk trash about a place they don't know

    or just shut up and don't go to the show

    more for me :)

    happens all the time, you should see the arguments people have about the bronx on another board i read about nyc.

    not sure about the amen, but pizza? sure!


    two restaurants across the st have yummy food, the best pizza is on 177st and bdwy and a few doors down of the UP is the cutest gay bar, so yea all these guys that go to pj shows, multiple shows will feel comfy

    i almost got killed in this neighborhood back in the day ... had a friend who went to school at Columbia over there ... a late night walk back to my car and BOOM! wallet taken. but i'm over it now and willing to go back.
    days will keep moving along. it doesnt really make a difference if you're well, sick, crazy or boring. the days will keep moving despite you and your small life. the point is to make each day that surrounds your life as big as possible.

    columbia university on haven ave ... just down the road from the UP ... they took the wallet as i was walking to the car. i guess they werent interested in my honda. it was right by some park ... i forget the name.

    Oh wow! Its at 175th street! I lived on 174th street when I was 5 weeks old till I was 4. I wish I could go to the NYC shows but I'll unfortunately be coming back from Lolla at the time.

    late seventies to mid 80's not a good idea

    after that it is just percentages

    it will happen in any city
    anywhere in the city
