Leave everything to the last minute and then suffer anxiety on the day before it has to be done?

    it's the only way i can function.....i got it from my dad.....he leaves everything till the last minute....

    yup. huge problem for me. i'm a perfectionist so it's a big problem. I am a total all-or-nothing personality so if I don't think I can do something perfectly, I won't do it until I really have to.

    Enormous problem for me. Last semester, I started writing a 40-50 page paper three days before it was due. I had until 9:30 p.m. to hand it in....let's just say I was running, in the rain, to the buliding at 9:15.

    Absolutely but it's no ones fault but our own! :)

    (Occasionally I'll have a funny five minutes and do everything straight away but it's rare).

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Yes. I actually saw this thread many hours ago and, for whatever reason, kept putting off responding to it. (seriously :o)

    I really wish I could change. It actually worked well for me when I was in college; I never started a paper/story until the night before it was due. I liked the pressure and I fed off of it. But it's gotten to be too much.

    Yes, this is a huge problem for me because there's always something I'm putting off so I'm always stressed out and feeling like I'm behind the eight ball. If anyone knows of any good solutions, please clue me in.

    Ah man, don't get me started! I haven't even wrapped all my Christmas gifts yet, much less given them out. They are now sitting around my house - along with the birthday gifts I haven't distributed since August - collecting cat hair (since I haven't vacuumed either).

    Fuck. Now I'm stressed again! :(
