After 22 years without an Apple computer at home, I have now joined the dark side, and it feels damn good. Ordered a Macbook Pro the other day from the Apple Store. Pumped!!!

i'd love to get one, but they are damn expensive compared to a pc.

I just bought a MacBook about five days ago. I'm still waiting on some software. Man, surfing is sooooo much faster. I love the keyboard and the battery life. I think they earned a lifelong customer. And the best part is, I get to write the purchase off of my 2008 taxes. It might be the only financial advantage of being a freelance writer.

We just got an iMac last week. I'm not new to Macs, as I've used them in design classes and stuff...but my husband is, and he is loving it. :)

    2nd computer was a Apple II+.

Currently on a Dual G5 Tower, getting close to upgrade time.

The iphones are pretty sweet too, got one for christmas and it syncs so well with the other mac apps (calendar, address book, mail).

Good choice. I don't ever want to say that I will never go back to PC, but at this point in time, it certainly does seem like I won't.

typin from the new mac right now, and the damn thing is simply beautiful, and so simple to use. it seems as if they've got a new user for life here. the ichat program is very cool, as is garageband. Mac OS X Leopard is very sleek and simple as well.

Yeah, that's my thinking as well. I am going to be in the market for a new laptop soon, but I just can afford or justify paying $1500 or more for a mac (that I really want), when I can get a PC laptop that will do everything that I need for like $800.
