I love this movie, its a perfect example of how our health insurance is fucked up in this country

    My wife (a registered nurse) and I were watching part of this movie last night. She had seen it before and I had not.

    According to her experiences, much of the difficulty Denzel's character had was typical. Though she also feels that HMOs are unfairly represented in the film. I'm sure there's a nice analytical treatment of the topic somewhere online, but I'm too lazy to look it up.

    Enjoyed the movie, though.
