yeah i guess that's the thing, i don't feel i know anybody here as much anymore, save a few cool folks...like yerself...glad you guys are still around otherwise iw ouldn't even bother checking in :)

yeah that sliding thing was done badly, but it's a cool scene just for the badassedness (is that a word? lol) of it. i agree the way they did gollum was incredible, the textures and expressions and everything. some movies are overwhelmed by special effects to the detriment of the story, with the LOTR ones it only helped enhance the story.
Ok, how creepy in the second one (I think) when Golum is about to take samwise and bilbo through the bad forest. The look on his face?

Of course badassedness is a word.

And alot of people say they didn't like Crash or the Departed. Weird to me. But I understand I guess.
    I HATED Matt Dillon's character in Crash....dick...

oh yeah, was that at the end of the 2nd one? creepy shit indeed!

i liked how they did those giant hamster hog things (i can't remember the name of 'em lol) in the 3rd one

sweet, badassedness is officially a word! :D

i really liked the departed, except for the *very* last minute. i wished i had left right before that minute....was sorta like having a great meal and then finding a hair at the bottom of your plate

never saw crash, i think i'm the only one in the planet who hasn't lol

Any movie that ends with Marky Mark taking it all is good for me. ;)
But yeah, it was like, enough with the twists and turns already.

hey, if Golum was about to 'take me throught the bad forest', well I think I may have a slightly concerned look about me.

Straight up tho....I enjoyed the 3 movies....I had little or no idea what was happening most of the time, but I did enjoy them.
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....

he was *awesome* in that movie!

the shot that bothered me....i don't wanna mess it up for anybody who hasn't seen it, but it was just a quick thing at the very end...was so heavy-handed, just made me go 'bwah bwah bwaaaaaaaaah'

the worst part was the psychiatrist....not only was she annoying and not a good actor, but what was the purpose of her character?

the movie was a mess and not scorsese's best work

who was she again? i don't even remember her at all :o

it's definitely not his best work, proof the academy has their heads up their asses. he should have gotten the oscar for good fellas or casino or raging bull or "insert about 15 other movies names here" lol

Juno made me laugh a couple of time but I thought they were trying to be "too cute", if that makes sense to anyone.

And I just didn't get Lost in Translation. But I saw it a couple of years ago and I was really messed up so that was probably why :).

Oh and I absolutely hated Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Loved the Matrix when it first came out but now when I watch it I just think its corny.

Everyone loves the Matrix... it's the other two most seem to dislike.

I enjoyed them just fine though.
    Stone Gossard...riffmeister extraordinaire!

I am a man, I am advanced.....I am the first man to borrow Stone's leather pants!

The Punisher (the one that came out a few years ago) was pretty much universally panned but I really liked it. I think it's one of the better comic movies behind the new Batman films.
